EMPLOYMENT

NKY Pet Sit LLC seeks passionate and trustworthy dog walkers and pet sitters. You must be a true animal lover with a pet care background. This can be your personal background with pets; ideally dog walking, pet sitting, volunteering in a shelter, or working at a doggy daycare, kennel, or veterinarian's office.

We pride ourselves on providing a high level of service to our clients, so excellent presentation and communication skills are a must. Our assignments provide an incredible opportunity to spend time with a variety of animals on a part-time basis to supplement an existing income, get exercise, and meet great people. Candidates must love spending time outdoors and be a self-starter.

Assignments range from visiting pets while their owners work or travel, to visiting a client's home to ensure the safety of their pet and/or household.

Any client that we assign to you is going to want to meet you beforehand. These meetings last about 30 minutes. Clients want to know who is coming into their home and see how their pets interact with you. They need to feel 100% comfortable allowing you into their home.

JOB DUTIES

Pet sitters and dog walkers are responsible for:
The well being and overall care of our clients pets. Candidates must be crazy about pets and have experience caring for them!

Managing clients' needs and preferences with a commitment to providing a superior level of care.
Having a flexible schedule to support weekends and holidays. Most dog walking will occur between 11:00am and 4:00pm Monday - Friday. Pet sitting usually occurs up to 3 times a day and is often scheduled on weekends or holidays. Please do not apply for Northern Kentucky Pet Sitting Service if you cannot be available to cover the largest need.

Have excellent work and personal references.
Trustworthiness, plenty of common sense, and an ability to follow detailed clients instructions are key criteria to working with us.

You should be aware that this type of work is a big responsibility; living, breathing animals will be relying on you to be a punctual, organized and a competent caregiver.

ADDITIONAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Flexible Schedule, schedules can change, and often do. Candidates must have ability to manage their own ever-changing schedule.

True animal lovers comfortable handling dogs of all sizes

Exceptional written and verbal skills to interact with us and our clients
Be dependable, our clients rely us on and we rely on you, for those who take sick days often this is not the job for you.

Ability to think on your feet under pressure and modify actions accordingly
Previous pet experience, pet ownership is preferred, MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR PETS!

A resident of Northern Kentucky or Greater Cincinnati. Please specify which county, town, and neighborhood you live in on your application.

US citizens, at least 18 years of age, with a clean criminal record and ability to pass a formal background check.

Equipped with a smartphone and working home internet connection with your own email account.

Dependable car with insurance, drivers license, and good driving record.
